After invested and set up by RITEK, U-TECH became a professional pre-recorded disc factory in Taiwan. We produce various pre-recorded discs for customers, including CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc (BD) and other types of recording media.

U-TECH has been leading in the world in the area of optical disc mass production technology with the best quality in the industry. U-TECH assumes the responsibility as “the carries of information and culture” and hopes to contribute to the inheritance of the human culture and information. Therefore, Dollars Cultural & Creative Company was born.

Brick Yard 33 1/3 (Yangmingshan American Military Housing) is a case in the Old House Rejuvenation Movement where we work with the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City. We have a courtyard with red brick walls and play vinyl records at 33 1/3 speed. Particularly, we set up a space for vinyl enthusiasts. Everyone can come here and listen to warm and familiar music tracks to recall happy memories and feel touched. This is about culture and creativity.

There are music events, outdoor stage, exhibition & performance activities, vinyl story hall, old house rejuvenation guide, community development, New Orleans style food and so on. These are absolutely the best cultural creativity with new sensations, which not only represent the plane concept, but also inspire the future of the culture and creativity and meet the demands of people living in urban areas for leisure activities and sensational shock.

In other countries, artisanal beer is also known as “craft beer.” The core value of such beer is innovation. To meet the demand from Brick Yard 33 1/3 and experience the workmanship of homebrew innovations, Zhaofu Craft Beer Brewery was established and went into production.

After Brick Yard 33 1/3, Dollars Cultural & Creative Company continued to rejuvenate and reuse the Yangmingshan American Military Housing. At present, we have a restaurant, a cafe, and a cultural and Creative store. In the afternoon in the Spring, you can take Bus 260 and get off at stop Shanzaihou Police Substation. When you walk in the Yangmingshan American Military Housing at Shanzaihou, it appears that you are in an American village. With a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful buildings, tasty meals, Brick Yard 33 1/3 and Old Town have transformed into a place that fascinates your family from wasteland where the homeless had ever lived and junkies hided before!

Anitica is an Italian bistro that serves the authentic Roma Square Pizza and classic Italian home-cooked meals. It is located next to the Chinese Culture University in Yangming Mountains with fresh forest air — Shanzaihou area and beautiful Yangmingshan American Military Housing—within the Old Town campus.

Jennifer’s Kitchen is a new restaurant opened in Zhubei by the famous “Brick Yard 33 1/3” in Yangming Mountains in Taipei City. It is spacious and serves a variety of American type meals for the residents living in Zhubei!
